Among the analytical techniques, the LHFA more particularly relied on NMR (advanced characterization of isolated nuclei species, reaction intermediates detection followed by in situ often at low temperature, kinetic studies, coordination studies on metal surfaces ... ) and RX (single crystal diffraction).

For this, the laboratory uses the corresponding services of ICT, especially those at the UPS chemistry building for analyzing highly sensitive compounds.
